Innovation Park Advertising

Submitted ByTown of Saugeen Shores

For the first time in over 20 years the Town of Saugeen Shores has municipally owned employment lands available for sale.

The Innovation Park, 23 acres across 17 proposed lots, will be a hub for innovation in the clean energy frontier region. With over 70 companies calling the tri-county region home, the Park marketing is targeted to attracting those businesses to expand in Saugeen Shores and to attract new and innovative businesses working in the clean energy space including nuclear, hydrogen, solar, technology, research, nuclear isotopes, and more.

By targeting this sector we are creating a cluster and hub for clean energy in Saugeen Shores that builds on our already 18 local nuclear suppliers. We are looking to generate economic spin off from this investment in jobs, assessment value, and community brand.

We have developed a suite of marketing materials, a marketing plan, and have solicited feedback on the concept from those in the industry with only positive responses received.

Building a park focused on our clean energy future will ensure economic success for the town for years to come and have Saugeen Shores known as a community of choice for those working in the industry.

The fully serviced Innovation Park will offer easy access to core markets and be surrounded by nature and trails making it an ideal location for investment.

Through our efforts in marketing material distribution and our attendance at industry events such as the Canadian Nuclear Association Conference, Bruce Power Supplier Day, and MIPIM in Cannes France, we currently have a list of about seven clean energy industry businesses that are interested in learning more and requested to be kept up to date on the project’s construction and completion schedule.

Construction is currently underway at the park which will be ready for new investment this fall (2023).
