The EDAC Board of Directors is pleased to announced that their efforts over the past few months have come to fruition with the signing of a MOU with Economic Development Australia (EDA) Ltd.

The Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) and Economic Development Australia (EDA) are internationally recognized national professional membership based organizations in the field of economic development with common goals and a similar mandate. Both associations are seeking to strengthen their alliances and work together to better serve the Economic Development Profession globally through this memorandum of understanding.

Through this MOU we will endeavour to provide members with international opportunities, including sharing of information and resources. As well through this EDA partnership, EDAC’s Certified Economic Developer (Ec.D.) Designation will now be recognized in Australia.

We look forward to working with Economic Development Australia!
