THE IMAGINE CHALEUR BRAND.

THE PURPOSE – WHY CREATE THE IMAGE CHALEUR BRAND?

In 2023, the Office of Economic Development and Tourism launched ‘Imagine Chaleur,’ a new brand to support the Chaleur Regional Service Commission’s  initiative of boosting economic growth, population, and labor force.  The main objective is to establish a strong brand identity that creates recognition and ensures a strong foundation for growth and success in the market. The secondary objective was to be inspirational.

OUR BRAND.

Our brand reinforces the behavior of our organization.  It is crafted from what we stand for “a new vision for the Chaleur region.”  It becomes a key corporate asset and competitive advantage. It builds a bond with our audiences and reflects every part of our business; the way we run it, how it gets adapted and experienced.

Simply stated the attributes of the Imagine Chaleur brand include:

KEY ELEMENTS:

Logo

A logo with the use of the word “Imagine” as a visual representation with the letters A and G linked together to indicate the need to rally partners around a common purpose and bring together like-minded individuals to work collectively towards a positive transformation of this region.  The three bars of the E represent the potential for new businesses; whereas, the C in Chaleur is segmented as a graphic table to show the evolution of the various sectors in addition to a forward motion.  The colors are red, vibrant and warm, navy peaceful and stable.

Tagline – At the heart of the economy!

Imagine Chaleur plays an integral role in the Northeast’s economic development sector. Its members are at the forefront of initiatives aimed at growing the regional economy through the creation of new businesses and the maintenance and survival of existing businesses, while developing innovative sectors and attracting investment to the region.

Located on the south shore of Chaleur Bay where several waterways empty into the bay, the Chaleur Region is served by a regional airport, deep water seaport and national rail line. It offers all the services a business owner and company need to flourish. A healthcare system providing tertiary services, government agencies focused on assisting businesses, and a college campus offering training of specialized technicians are just a few examples of the rich living environment that await investors.

The Chaleur Region boasts an energetic bilingual community, open to the world.  Imagine Chaleur sits at the heart of the region, poised to tap into its spirit and creativity with new initiatives to encourage lasting economic development.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Our audience includes investors and businesses, academics, entrepreneurs, and government officials with professionalism is the cornerstone of successful interactions and endeavors.

EFFECTIVENESS IN MEETING OBJECTIVES

The Chaleur region is often considered a drive through region on your way to elsewhere.  The main challenge was to create a unique distinguishable identity that will not be mistaken with any other agencies, municipalities, board, etc. Immediately recognizable, the logo, tagline, and color palette, are considered elements of our corporate identity, applied to all our communication, marketing, promotion, signage, graphic, etc. that tell the story of what we have to offer.
