The Tourism Vaughan Corporation (TVC) is the official destination marketing organization (DMO) for the City of Vaughan with the mission to market and promote Vaughan as a destination for tourists and business travellers to the City of Vaughan. Within the TVC, we are positioned to target planners in the meetings, events, conferences and sports sectors. Attracting companies, sporting associations, and various industries to host their next event in Vaughan.  We are pleased to announce our next phase of our marketing initiatives to promote and partner with associations geared towards meeting professionals. The purpose of this project was to highlight the City of Vaughan as the destination for your next event. That could be a conference, tradeshow, sporting event, or industry meeting. We have obtained memberships to Adrenalin/Ignite Magazine (Canadian Sport Tourism), MPI (Meeting Professionals International), and CSAE (The Canadian Society of Association Executives) and subsequently paid for advertising in their respective publications.

Each publication/association reaches thousands of Meeting Planners on a monthly or quarterly basis.

MPI Monthly Enewsletter Distribution: 600 members in the GTHA

CSAE Monthly Enewsletter Distribution: 812 member organizations and 2500+

We worked with our communications team to deliver audience specific creative. Our goal was to demonstrate the City of Vaughan as a destination for your next event. Within the city, we offer a variety of amenities, accommodations, attractions, restaurants and meeting facilities, positioning the City of Vaughan as a one-stop for your next event. One of the challenges we faced creating this campaign was encapsulating everything the City of Vaughan has to offer to those looking to host their next event here. Our creative team was successful in creating a campaign that would be clear, attractive and enticing.

The Call To Action (CTA) of our campaign ads direct hosts to visit our dedicated website hostinvaughan.ca or engage with us on our social media platform. Once they’ve landed on our website, they will be able to filter by event venue and supplier listings to find the perfect match for their event needs.

Our advertising campaigns have generated unique views on our site, resulting in inquiries to our department and ultimately hosted events in the city.
