Vice-President, Economic Development – Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership

The Sarnia-Lambton Economic partnership is looking for a Vice-President of Economic Development. The position reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with Economic Officers to develop and execute strategic programming that support Lambton County’s economic growth objectives – driving investment attraction, retention, and expansion initiatives. The Vice-President of Economic development will lead a team of skilled Economic Development Officers (EDOs) and work collaboratively with stakeholders, businesses, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Programming and Direction
  • Economic Development Leadership and Innovation
  • Management and Facilitation of the Investment Attraction Process
  • Business Retention and Expansion Programming
  • Formulation and Implementation of Marketing Initiatives
  • Business Management and Facilitation of Project Focused Initiatives
  • Stakeholder Relations and Organizational Representation
  • Reporting, Compilation and Ongoing Data Base Maintenance
