The County of Lennox & Addington requires a Small Business Development Officer to provide high quality coaching to entrepreneurs and business owners by analyzing situations and educating clients on business plans, market feasibility, financial management and marketing (including digital capabilities).


Economic Development Officer – Town of Cochrane

Working under the leadership of the CAO/DEc.Dev, the EDO with be responsible for the coordination in the Town’s delivery and oversight of the economic development activities with the intent of attracting new businesses, encouraging investment opportunities, increasing job opportunities and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and development by promoting and marketing the Town as a great place to live, work, visit and conduct business.



Rural Economic Development Officer – Leduc-Nisku EDA

The Rural Economic Development Officer is a key player in the economic development of the Leduc region’s rural municipalities and the achievement of the organization’s strategic plan.  The Leduc-Nisku Economic Development Association (Leduc-Nisku EDA) represents the County of Leduc, City of Leduc, and five municipalities in Leduc County, in attracting industry and business to the region and enhancing the region’s economy, creating long-term growth and prosperity.
