RFP: Economic Development Strategy – Municipality of North Grenville

The Municipality of North Grenville is seeking proposals for a qualified firm to develop a comprehensive economic development strategy. This strategy will provide relevant direction, outlining goals and outcomes for the Municipality’s Economic Development initiatives, including but not limited to, achieving an environment that is conducive to attracting and retaining current, new and diverse investment that will create employment, diversify the Municipality’s tax base and create a resilient local economy. The strategy will assist the Municipality in improving the economic and social well-being of the residents of North Grenville by fostering an environment suitable for creating and retaining jobs and by supporting community cohesion and engagement. The Municipality also requires the strategy to contain an implementation plan, outlining a prioritization of short-term and long-term implementation actions and the timing, anticipated cost, funding source and lead or ‘champion’ of each implementation action.

The strategy must align with the Municipality’s 2022 Strategic Plan and 2021 Tourism Strategy.
