EDAC Exclusive Webinar

US & Canada Relations: EDAC Tariffs Roundtable Discussion

THIS SESSION IS FULL

As developments continue to evolve between the US and Canada’s trade relationship, we would like to offer a roundtable discussion to our members.

The U.S. administration’s chaotic back and forth on proposed and actual tariffs on Canadian goods has created grave challenges for our communities, businesses, and workers. This special meeting of EDAC is intended to let members share their concerns and perspectives on the subject.

  • DATE: Thursday, April 3rd
  • TIME: 2:00 PM ET
  • LOCATION: Zoom
  • COST: Complimentary

This special one-hour online meeting will be facilitated by economic development consultant Alissa Sklar, Ph.D., author of Economic Development Marketing & Priorities (Financial Times, 2024). It will be structured to encourage members to share experiences, resources and tactical responses. We will begin with a short overview focusing on resources and examples of responses from different communities and then continue the meeting as a moderated open mic session for anyone wishing to ask questions or contribute.
