As the Director of Economic Development, you will lead efforts to drive diversified economic growth and innovation for the City of Peterborough, contributing to a vibrant, sustainable, and resilient local economy. A visionary and strategic leader, you will spearhead the establishment of the City’s newly created Economic Development Services Division. This division will serve as an in-house center of excellence, offering first-class programs and services aimed at attracting new businesses and investments, supporting startups and innovation, retaining and expanding local businesses, and strengthening local employment through strategic talent attraction initiatives.
