Bracebridge produces two tourism-focused brochures that showcase the depth and variety of experiences available in the Heart of Muskoka. The first, “Taste, Create, Live”, highlights the Town’s key pillars of local tourism through features on restaurants, markets, art studios, and recreational experiences. The second, “Hike, Bike, Ski” focuses on the Town’s extensive outdoor recreation offerings and trail systems, encouraging exploration across all four seasons. Refreshed annually to reflect current community assets and events, the brochures aim to help visitors imagine what it feels like to experience Bracebridge firsthand. From culinary experiences and cultural events to outdoor adventures and family-friendly attractions, the content reflects the town’s broad tourism appeal.
Both brochures are rooted in the Visit the Bridge brand, inspired by Bracebridge’s iconic silver bridge located in the heart of downtown. This symbol anchors the campaign and ties together the themes of exploration, creativity, and community that define Bracebridge’s identity.
The 2025 editions are available in both print and digital formats. Each features updated photography, refreshed editorial content, and practical trip-planning information, including accommodations, accessibility notes, and local transportation details. To expand their reach, the brochures are hosted on the Visit the Bridge website and shared digitally through Heyzine, improving visibility for both local businesses and the destination as a whole.
Photography, design, and distribution are managed in collaboration with local creative professionals and businesses. This not only ensures an authentic look and feel, but also supports the local economy and creative sector. For this year’s campaign, 8,000 copies of each brochure were printed and circulated, while the digital versions each received 140 views within the first three weeks of release.
The brochure series also plays a key role in promoting year-round tourism. Seasonal highlights, such as the Fire and Ice Festival in winter and arts and cultural events in summer, encourage visitation throughout the calendar year. Paired with stunning visuals, this timely and relevant content helps tell a compelling story about what makes Bracebridge special.
At its core, the project is designed to do more than simply inform; it’s meant to inspire. By packaging key tourism information in a format that is visually engaging, accessible, and easy to navigate, the brochures help potential visitors feel confident and excited about exploring Bracebridge. Whether planning a weekend getaway, a family trip, or a longer stay, these publications reflect a welcoming, vibrant community that offers memorable experiences in every season.
