In September 2023, the Town of Georgina’s Economic Development and Tourism Office worked closely with its employment land developers to bring awareness of the investment opportunities with the Keswick Business Park, which broke ground in late 2022 through a sponsored National Post advertorial. The four-minute read article titled, “Town of Georgina business park offers a rare location opportunity at the top of the GTA,” highlighted the benefits of investing in Georgina supported through developer testimonials. 

The article was published online and in print and encouraged readers to learn more on the Town’s new economic development website, choosegeorgina.ca. With an eight million print reach and more than 15 million digital reach in Canada, the advertorial reached readers across the country. Beyond the general exposure, an online amplification campaign garnered more than 140K impressions and over 10K clicks.  

The Town partnered with the Region of York, which supported the advertorial through the Foreign Direct Investment Partnership Fund. They also assisted with promotion by sharing it through their communication channels. 

The advertorial highlights the park as one of the largest business park developments in the GTA, including a first-of-its-kind Life Science and Technology Park. It also highlights the Town’s unique and strategic location, economic growth, and talented workforce. 

This advertorial continues to assist the Town with its investment attraction efforts, as the National Post has significant authority online. Key search terms bring the article to the top of search queries, ultimately bringing more people to the Town’s website.
