The answer was Invest Mississauga, the city’s first permanent, unified economic development brand.
Unlike past cyclical campaigns, Invest Mississauga was purpose-built for longevity, clarity, and meaningful impact. This brand serves as a powerful magnet on the world stage, attracting global investment while simultaneously uniting the City’s diverse economic development services, from large-scale business attraction to entrepreneurship and innovation through IDEA Mississauga, an entrepreneurial innovation hub within Invest Mississauga.
Our goal was simple but bold, craft a brand that resonates equally with international investors and local stakeholders, representing Mississauga’s promise of opportunity, innovation, and civic pride.
Effectiveness & Impact:
Since its launch at Collision conference last year, we have seen 27.5% increase of users on the Invest Mississauga website with over 30% being new users.
Invest Mississauga continues to showcase at major global industry events and investment missions, cutting through the noise to capture the attention of high-growth companies, site selectors, and investors. The brand consistently generates targeted inquiries and elevates Mississauga’s profile, even when positioned alongside larger metropolitan competitors.
