The Ignite Branded Photo Frames were created to engage clients, partners, and community members in a visually interactive way that reinforces Ignite’s core pillars and programming. These customized Instagram-style coroplast frames represent key areas of focus such as Business Growth, Workforce, Loans & Grants, the Connector Program, CRIN (Capital Region Integration Network), and Planet Hatch.
The primary goal was to create a simple, lightweight, and highly visual promotional item that could be used repeatedly at events, workshops, graduations, and business visits across the Capital Region. By encouraging clients to pose with frames that reflect their journey or accomplishments, Ignite fosters authentic storytelling and builds brand recognition—while celebrating the people behind the progress.
Since their introduction, the frames have been used across dozens of events and photo activations. From program graduations to newcomer celebrations and business development workshops, they have become a go-to tool for social engagement.
Photos taken with the frames are leveraged across Ignite’s social media channels, website blog posts, and by staff on their individual LinkedIn profiles—extending the brand’s reach across multiple digital platforms. Clients and partners featured in the photos are tagged, which not only celebrates their contributions but also significantly expands the audience reach through shares, reposts, and engagement. This amplifies Ignite’s visibility in the community and strengthens relationships with stakeholders.
They also serve as conversation starters—allowing clients and staff to speak to the meaning behind each frame, whether it’s accessing funding, launching a startup, or participating in a workforce program. The visual consistency of the frames across programs supports internal cohesion and external awareness.
Initial prototypes included designs that were too large or complex to transport easily. The final versions were streamlined for durability, portability, and visibility in photos. Fonts were enlarged, frame sizes adjusted for group and solo use, and pillar language refined to ensure clarity. We chose coroplast material for its strength, light weight, and ability to withstand frequent use across various venues and conditions.
The frames were designed with Ignite’s diverse clientele in mind—ranging from local entrepreneurs and startups to newcomers, youth, and economic development partners. They are accessible and engaging tools that resonate with audiences across cultural and language backgrounds, reinforcing Ignite’s message of inclusion, empowerment, and regional growth.
These frames are more than props—they are participatory brand artifacts. Each one was designed in Canva, then produced with specific program branding, customized language, and color coding to match Ignite’s brand identity. They are not generic promotional items; instead, they reflect key messaging like “Inspire. Grow. Belong.” and strategically aligned to highlight the unique value each program offers. Their interactive use is what makes them stand out—they bring people into the brand.
The frames are intentionally designed for long-term, repeat use. Printed on durable coroplast, they replace the need for single-use signage or giveaway items at events. Their shelf life is high, and they are rotated across the region, maximizing value and minimizing waste. More importantly, they help create lasting impressions and digital content that lives well beyond the event—reinforcing Ignite’s commitment to sustainable, community-based promotion.
