As the fastest growing big city in Canada, the City of Brampton is a prime destination for development. fDI Intelligence positions Brampton as a leading city of the future and prime investment location. Brampton has been ranked as the #1 food processing sector in North America two years in a row, as well as Top Investment location by Site Selection Magazine. Also, the City of Brampton is recognized by Maclean’s Magazine as one of Canada’s Best Communities. Between 2019-2021, the City of Brampton is experiencing two years of plus $500 million valuations in building permits: $704.6 million in 2021, up by 5.9 per cent in 2021 from 2020. Building permit values are expected to continue to rise in upcoming quarters.
