Reporting to the Director of Planning and Building Services, the Community Growth Advisor will focus on advancing affordable housing goals through program management, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include implementing the Community Improvement Plan, conducting policy research, facilitating partnerships, and removing barriers for ‘shovel-ready’ projects. The role demands collaboration with stakeholders, participation in the Interdepartmental Review Committee, and identifying legislative and funding opportunities. The Community Growth Advisor will support municipal leadership in advocacy and legislative initiatives to promote sustainable growth and affordable living solutions.
